The reelection campaign for a Democratic State Senator in northern VA is seeking to hire a Field Director. This will be a competitive and exciting race, and a great way to gain experience and skills that will broaden your options for the 2016 cycle.

The Field Director will be expected to:

• Manage and train field staff and volunteers
  
• Set, meet, and exceed goals for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV 
  
• Build and manage relationships with community leaders, groups, and coalitions. 
  
• Design and standardize best practices for data management. 
  
• Coordinate with the campaign team to support fundraising, political, or communication goals. 

Strong candidates should be a leader with strong communication skills, and have at least one cycle of paid field experience. Qualified individuals will have experience managing and structuring voter data, and be proficient with Votebuilder. A laptop and reliable transportation is required (a valid driver's license is required).
