A NoVA State Senator's campaign is seeking energetic, organized candidates for a Finance Director position for the 2015 election cycle to start immediately.
The qualified individual will be expected to:
- Manage and staff candidate calltime
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events
- Draft fundraising solicitations (emails, letters, etc.)
- Conduct donor research and outreach
- Recruit, manage, and train finance interns
- Other tasks as assigned
Ideal applicants should possess strong organizational and time management skills and be willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends. The applicant should also have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to take on management responsibilities, and be a team player. Individuals should have at least one cycle of campaign finance experience and be familiar with using NGP.
This position will require access to a laptop, transportation, and a valid driver's license.
