Overview:
Save Our Students is seeking an experienced Colorado fundraiser to facilitate and execute a statewide fundraising effort for its statewide ballot initiative campaign.
Qualifications Sought:
Save Our Students seeks a Colorado fundraiser with the following qualifications:
Statewide experience
Track record of raising $1 million or more
Access to donors who frequently and robustly support progressive causes
Ability to create and execute a fundraising plan
Willingness to seek out creative avenues for fundraising
A team-oriented attitude
Belief in and desire to support the initiative
About Save Our Students:
Save Our Students is a 501 c4 organization dedicated to making college affordable and accessible for future generations of Colorado students. This effort takes its form through an effort to change Colorado's constitution to limit the rate at which public universities can raise tuition by tying it to the rate of inflation in years where the budget does not get cut.
College tuition is skyrocketing and students are graduating with crippling amounts of student loan debt. This not only puts a strain on Colorado's economy as a whole, it could very well put an entire generation's future at risk.
This initiative is about more than just student loan debt and out of control tuition hikes. It's about protecting and expanding the middle class. It's about fulfilling the promise of affordable higher education for those who seek it. It's about students and parents, families and the hope for a better future.
