Greenpeace seeks a dynamic leader responsible for the management of its national street and door-to-door canvass offices.  This is a senior level fundraising position responsible for this multi-million dollar fundraising program.  The objective of the national canvass (Frontline) program is to increase the financial strength and political impact of Greenpeace by recruiting members who give automatic monthly donations through a credit card or a bank direct debit.


Greenpeace is looking for a candidate who will ensure that each of the 13 canvass offices achieve their financial and membership recruitment objectives; manage of program operations, training; and analyze the fundraising program.  Duties include supervising a senior team of seven staff who, with the National Canvass Director, lead this growing program.


Qualifications include:


  • Regional or National canvass management experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years face-to-face fundraising experience, preferably in a canvass or other solicitation technique.

  • Experience using appropriate data analysis to inform decision making

  • Staff Management – Proven ability to train and manage staff

  • Leadership experience – Proven ability to inspire teams and manage a robust fundraising program.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

  • Experience in handling customer service issues.

  • Basic background in statistical analysis.

  • An understanding of and a commitment to working towards a more diverse and inclusive workplace.


Candidates should have high level of integrity; commitment to grassroots organizing and civil disobedience as a way to make change; interest in innovative process design; a commitment to protecting the environment and be goal oriented.
