American Bridge is seeking a Legislative Research Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities:
- Generate content for American Bridge's proprietary database of congressional vote information that is used in the production of opposition research products.
- Research information on votes and policy proposals from secondary sources such as think tanks, congressional reports, and news articles.
- Monitor congressional activity, including floor proceedings, for noteworthy events.
- Assist in the analysis of state legislative information.
Experience:
- Legislative research experience on the hill, similar experience at an advocacy or research organization, or at least one election cycle of opposition research experience.
- Ability to simplify complex legislative matters into easy-to-understand briefs.
