National Presidential Political Organization Seeks Field Organizer
What You'll Do:
• Work with the best grassroots volunteers and develop their leadership
• Build coalitions and recruit local allies
• Recruit and mobilize volunteers
• Build, coach, and support teams of volunteer leaders
• Host and coordinate regular visibility events, house meetings, and creative days of action
• Field organizers will bear primary responsibility for execution of the field plan
• Manage campaign data collection and results reporting as needed
Desired Skills and Experience:
• At least 1 cycle of experience in Field Organizing.
• Ability to delegate work and responsibility in rapid-response environments while intentionally developing the skills of individual volunteer leaders.
• Disciplined professionalism. Ideal candidates will be timely, hardworking, and ready to work long hours in fast-paced environments to get the job done.
• Ability to work with supporters remotely
• Consistently able to convey a professional tone to volunteers, supporters, voters, and fellow staffers.
• Experience working with Nationbuilder is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of the national political landscape
• Experience with basic online organizing principles, and able to integrating virtual systems to drive on-the-ground campaign goals.
• Self-motivated and able to be effective working independently
