A Democratic presidential primary campaign in New Hampshire is seeking Regional Field Directors and Field Organizers to join our team. Field staff will be responsible for driving the campaign's grassroots operation by developing and maintaining relationships with volunteers and engaging directly with voters.
Regional Field Director responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations of a team of field organizers and provide coaching
- Ensure region meets weekly and long term organization building and voter contact goals
- Manage organized systems of reporting and track progress to goal
- Measure progress within a region and identify solutions for areas of struggle
- Have at least one cycle of campaign or organizing experience
- Possess strong management and personal skills
- Have experience meeting goals and prioritizing tasks in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Be willing to work long hours and weekends
- Have a valid driver's license and car
- Recruit and train volunteers; identify supporters
- Meet weekly and long term organization building and voter contact goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with supporters
- Keep an up to date account of progress by reporting and entering data on time
- Possess strong outreach and personal skills
- Be a creative problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude
- Be willing to work long hours and weekends
- Have a valid driver's license and car
