[jobsthatareLEFT] Alliance for Justice Klagsbrun Fellowship (Washington, D.C.)

Alliance for Justice (www.afj.org) is a national association of over 100 organizations dedicated to advancing justice and democracy. For over 30 years we have been leaders in the fight for a more equitable society on behalf of a broad constituency of environmental, consumer, civil and women's rights, children's, senior citizens' and other groups. Alliance for Justice believes that all Americans have the right to secure justice in the courts and to have their voices heard when the government makes decisions that affect their lives.

AFJ is offering a ten-month public interest fellowship to a person who has recently completed an undergraduate degree program. The fellow, funded by a grant from the CrossCurrents Foundation, will undertake a variety of grassroots organizing and research projects. These focus in great part on AFJ's annual First Monday campaign to raise awareness and mobilize the public, especially law school communities, around important social justice issues. The 2015 First Monday campaign will focus the impact of Supreme Court decisions on American workers and their families.
