The Partnership Project is looking for a Finance and Compliance intern. Launched in 1999, the Partnership Project was created to help the 33 leading environmental advocacy organizations in the nation—the Green Group—combine forces to educate the public, build power, and affect change. The Partnership's strength lies in the unity and cooperation we engender as well as our ability to build power by leveraging resources toward common environmental goals.
The ideal candidate is an undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in environmental issues. A background in economics, accounting, or law is not required. Full/part-time positions are available and come with a nominal stipend.
Finance & Compliance Intern Position Description:
· Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director as well as manage rotating special projects
· Oversee the set up and completion of Partnership Project events, webinars, social media forums, and Board Meetings under the Director of Finance and Administration and central consulting staff
· Work on various financial and compliance items relating to the successful operation of a 501c(3)
· Provide assistance with digital and communication efforts
