Job Description: Campaign Manager
Run for America is seeking experienced campaign managers to run competitive Congressional races in the 2016 election cycle. Campaign managers lead the day-to-day operations of the political campaign, plan and execute the campaign plan, and manage the campaign budget.
Responsibilities:
Win
Oversee all campaign operations, especially budget and timeline
Hire key campaign staff
Develop campaign, fundraising, and earned media plans
Communicate on and off-record with the media
Manage relationships with relevant on-ground and national contacts
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a campaign manager or finance director on a large-budget, competitive race
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of media timeline and budget prioritization
Strong ability to handle management and execution of multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to manage relationships well
Belief in RFA's mission and candidate
Not afraid to make conscious, bold choices
On-record experience is a plus
