Job Description: Finance Director
Run for America seeks finance directors to run fundraising operations of its candidates. Finance directors will be expected to lead the day-to-day fundraising operations on the ground and act as a liaison between Run for America's fundraising department and the campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Setup and manage day-to-day fundraising operation
Write fundraising plan
Prioritize donors for call-time operation
Set up fundraising events
Write call-time script and work with candidate to constantly improve
Oversee donor research operation
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a finance director (prefered), deputy finance director or call-time manager on a large-budget, competitive race
Ability to demonstrate how to create a fundraising plan, how to run a donor research operation, how to organize a finance database and how to prioritize donors
Strong sense of self
Belief in RFA's mission and candidate
Strong ability to handle management and execution of multiple projects simultaneously
Not afraid to make conscious, bold choices
