NextGen Climate is currently seeking an executive assistant with a strong work ethic, combined with a vast set of skills and experience to provide support to the NextGen Climate team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage scheduling appointments, meetings, travel for executive level staff
- Proactively and independently handle day-to-day operational matters such as preparing meeting materials and presentations
- Assist in planning events, travel and logistics with the team
- Manage contacts and other databases
- Identify areas for improvement; streamline processes and procedures
- Maintain up-to-date expense reporting
- Other relevant administrative tasks as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- 3+ years in administrative role or related work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Proven ability to use discretion, maintain confidentiality and make sound judgments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and be available as needed
- Highly-effective interpersonal skills to build consensus and cooperation
- Detail-orientation – even under tight timelines
- Flexibility, approachability and a sense of humor whether working independently or as part of a team
