SUMMARY:
NextGen Climate is currently seeking a videographer / editor / photographer, who will provide online content to support our Digital Team in Iowa. The ideal candidate should be an ambitious jack-of-all-trades with a keen eye for compelling stories. Experience with digital photo and video equipment is a must. Experience with environmental issues and politics is a bonus. Please provide a demo reel or portfolio of work along with your resume.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide video and photo coverage at events across the state.
- Seek out and tell stories engaging youth and local businesses on the issue of climate change.
- Conduct interviews, capture b-roll, and edit video content.
- Shoot and edit high res photos.
- Communicate with state team leaders as well as Digital Team at HQ in San Francisco.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years experience with digital photography, videography and editing software.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines.
- Creative storyteller.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel within the state
