Competitive Baltimore Mayoral Candidate seeks qualified Campaign Manager to assume responsibilities from consultants and advisors.
The campaign manager will oversee all aspects of the campaign including, but not limited to:
- · Day-to-day operations of campaign office
- · Hire remaining essential staff
- · Manage staff and volunteers
- · Ensure fundraising goals are met
- · Create metrics to ensure voter contact goals are being met
- · Maintain control of and stay within campaign budget parameters
- · Work with existing consulting team to develop strategy and timelines
- · Collaborate with key stakeholders, elected officials, and organizations to streamline voter contact operations
- · Quality control of social and digital media
- · Revise campaign plan when necessary
- · Other duties as required by candidate and senior advisors
Campaign manager must possess:
· Excellent organizational skills
· Be detail-oriented
· Good interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to maintain order and structure in high-pressure environment
· Ability to operate at grassroots and grasstops level
· Motivational and team leadership capabilities
· Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN
· Knowledge of NationBuilder a plus
· Ability to work long hours, seven days a week through Election Day on April 26, 2016
Experience:
· 2-3 cycles of experience as Campaign Manager and/or Field Director. Candidates with labor organizing experience will also be considered.
· Familiar with grassroots organizing, volunteer management, and using data to set goals and measure progress
· College degree
· Experience implementing campaign/finance/or field plans
· Baltimore/Maryland experience preferred but not required. Housing options available for qualified candidates outside the region.
