Communications Fellow Job Opening

Americans for Tax Fairness, a national campaign of 425 endorsing organizations supporting federal tax reform at the national and state levels, is seeking a Fellow to provide support for communications, including digital media and field communications, and office administration.
We are a staff of five, which provides a Fellow with a valuable opportunity to work closely with a communications director and digital director on a full-time basis on a high-profile issue campaign. A stipend of $300 a week is offered.
Responsibilities
· Compiling and preparing daily press clips
· Researching and maintaining media lists
· Preparing blog posts and infographics
· Drafting letters to the editor and other written materials
· Policy research support
· Participate in discussions of communications strategy
· Provide general administrative support, as needed, including support to the field director in managing state grassroots communications activity
Required skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Word and Excel
· Knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress and Photoshop
· Good writing skills
· Experience doing research and compiling data. Willingness to continue digging to find the source materials referenced in popular media.
· Experience with social media, specifically Twitter, Facebook, and blogging
· Attention to detail. Someone who self-edits before sending material to supervisors.
· Individuals should be self-motivated and organized
