Manager, Targeting and Planning - NYC
BerlinRosen, a leading national political consulting and strategic communications firm specializing in public affairs and issue campaign management for political, corporate and non-profit clients, is seeking an experienced political professional to help develop and execute direct mail and advertising campaigns for our political and public affairs clients—with a focus on using data to cost-effectively target messages and audiences.
This position requires at least 3 years of relevant political experience and is based in our NYC office.
We are a small-ish, naturally collaborative team, so the Manager of Targeting & Planning will have exposure to all aspects of our campaign services business; and will occasionally be assigned lead responsibilities for particular clients.

Responsibilities: The Manager of Targeting & Planning's essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Creating efficient voter contact universes
· Planning TV, radio and digital ad buys
· Managing client budgets
· Interfacing with third party vendors and consultants
· Helping prepare proposals for prospective clients
· Working with colleagues, clients, graphic designers and production managers to create successful direct mail and ad campaigns
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
· Three+ years' experience in politics
· Excellent quantitative analytical skills
· Comfort with manipulating voter file, election results and polling data
· Demonstrated success developing political strategies
· Extremely strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and an ability to multitask
· Strong communications skills
· A personal interest in progressive politics and causes
