Pramila Jayapal for Congress [WA-7] is seeking passionate, experienced candidates for Campaign Manager in highly competitive, closely watched Congressional race.   The campaign is seeking candidates who are committed to fighting for working men and women, for public education, social security, women's healthcare, and criminal justice reform. 


Candidates should be committed to Pramila's vision: "We need movement builders who understand that our role as elected officials is not only to pass good policy or stop bad policy, but to be the bridge between government and the people, to remind people that we represent them, and to help inspire hope, trust, and a new generation of activism." 


Job Responsibilities

Creating, implementing, and tracking a comprehensive campaign plan with a clear the path to victory including metrics for voter contact and fundraising

Managing relationships with community stakeholders and press 

Overseeing day-to-day work of staff and volunteers and track the campaign's budget

Working with the campaign's consultants to make media and messaging decisions

Coordinating campaign activities with all influential coalition partners and endorsers 

Provide ongoing support to the candidate for all political strategy and communications


Qualifications

Significant political campaign and/or labor organizing experience required, with at least one cycle of campaign management

Commitment to details and using data to inform decisions in the field

Deep familiarity with NGP & Votebuilder 

Demonstrated ability to build and motivate a team and work well with other team members

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment

A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Ability to relocate to Seattle, Washington 

Have a "Si Se Puede" attitude and a commitment to changing the world
