Qualifications:
The Field Director will have at least 2 cycles of campaign experience. Qualified applicants need to have demonstrated skills in managing staff at various levels of responsibility, motivating people, developing and implementing strategic field plans, evaluating staff, and working with elected officials.
The candidate needs superb judgment, political savvy, field focus, and a work ethic of the highest degree.
Staff Management:
The Field Director will assist in hiring, training, evaluating and managing campaign staff for the 2016 election cycle. The director will be expected to understand what would make a successful employee in each position and assess each candidate's strengths and weaknesses. Responsibilities will also include day-to-day management of the staff, staff trainings, goal setting, and tracking.
Further Information:
This position will require extensive hours and statewide travel. Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
