Brady Walkinshaw for Congress is looking for a motivated, hard-working, sharp and confident individual to join our campaign as a Field Organizer. Our campaign isn't just about winning a majority of votes this year – it's about recruiting and training a whole new generation of progressive leaders to join the front lines in our work to deliver on progressive priorities like affordable housing, climate change, economic inequality, and racial justice.
The position is open until filled, and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis starting on February 17th, 2016. The Role
The Field Organizer will work on the ground in communities throughout the 7th Congressional District to build the grassroots volunteer infrastructure that will lead our campaign to victory in the August Primary and the November General elections.
Organizers will be responsible for growing the campaign's network of supporters and volunteers through creative tactics, including regular phone-banking and door-knocking efforts. This is a demanding job and we are looking for passionate, dedicated, skilled, and energetic organizers.
We value experience with campaigns, campus groups or student government, academic or professional achievement, and outstanding verbal, written, listening, and leadership skills, although we'll consider applicants without previous professional organizing experience.
