A top-tier congressional campaign in North Carolina mountains is looking for an on-site, full time field director.
-- Responsibilities include:
- Drafting and executing a comprehensive field plan focused on persuasion and GOTV of Democrats, Unaffiliateds and Republicans.
- Draft and prioritize a field budget with collaboration with senior staff.
- Build and manage field staff consisting of county coordinators, field organizers, and hundreds of volunteers.
- Set, meet, and achieve goals for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, vote pledges, and GOTV.
- Maintain and update database of voter contact results.
Preferred skills and experience in candidates include:
- Prior political campaign experience in field
- Multitasker
- Skilled at managing staff and volunteers
- Deadline oriented
- Experience with NationBuilder
- Experience with VAN
- Proficient on computer
- Above average typing skills
- Comfortable on phone
