In close coordination with a San Francisco Supervisor's office, the Political Organizer will be tasked to increase awareness and build support for a sponsored, citywide community project.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, door-to-door outreach, phone calls, event planning and setup, online and social media communication, research, database management, intern management, and volunteer recruitment.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills, communication and motivational skills, work ethic, and passion for political/civic issues are essential. Candidates must be able to work within a small team, have proven leadership ability and experience handling a lot of responsibility. Strong self-direction and the ability to take initiative are also necessary qualifications.
Expectations
Work hours can run 50-60 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
Timing and Location
The position is open for immediate hire. Position is located in San Francisco.
