CAMPAIGNS COORDINATOR


Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention advocacy group in the country, is seeking a passionate, dedicated professional for this new role. The Campaigns Coordinator will be fully dedicated to two Everytown departments, the State Legislative Affairs and Digital departments, supporting their day-to-day work. We're looking for a flexible problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail to join us. We ask candidates to make a two-year commitment to the role.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accounting and contracts – Track all expenses and give director and deputies real-time intelligence on budgets. Manage invoice coding, tracking and processing with operations. Assist on departmental requests and sending materials to chapters.
  • Interdepartmental coordination – Craft meeting agendas, take notes and follow up on next steps.
  • Communications and Document management – Provide research support, and help develop presentations. Copy editing as needed.
  • Scheduling and travel – Help provide calendar support for team-wide and firm-wide events and meetings. Plan occasional travel for team members.
  • Customer service – Own and improve on constituent inquiry intake and response systems.
  • To be successful in this job, you must have:

    • Emotional intelligence to develop strong relationships across multiple teams
    • A willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done well

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of professional experience, with documented success in operations, research, or as a paralegal or assistant
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced organization
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to rapidly shift between multiple projects and priorities
  • Persistent and dogged in the face of obstacles
  • Ability to maintain a sense of humor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with Google Apps
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Familiarity with Westlaw/LexisNexis a plus, but not required
