POSITION: Hispanic Outreach Director

DESCRIPTION: The Hispanic Outreach Director will work closely with the Director of Community Engagement, the Community Engagement team as well as DNC staff to implement effective outreach to the Hispanic community.

Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- · Conducts stakeholder analysis, community outreach and engagement, message development and strategic communications, and logistical coordination for delivery and implementation of outreach efforts.
- · Tracks the impact of complex change initiatives.
- · Cultivates relationships with key constituencies and facilitates involvement as it relates to Committee objectives.
- · Develop and write comprehensive community engagement strategy plans for implementation.
- · Analyzing local political trends, performing necessary research and preparing background materials and documents.
- · Prepare briefings for the DNC Chair, officers and senior staff.
- · Serves as a Liaison to the Chair of the DNC's Hispanic Caucus
- · Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Engagement.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- · Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).
- · Community engagement and organizing experience
- · Three to five cycles of campaign experience, including one presidential or gubernatorial election
- · Proven ability to multitask successfully
- · Previous experience working with national Hispanic organizations and groups.
- · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- · Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills.
- · Spanish fluency strongly preferred
