Job Announcement - Field Organizers
Location: CA - 17th Congressional District
Job Description:
The Mike Honda for Congress Campaign is looking for top-notch Field Organizers to work on a highly competitive congressional campaign. Field Organizers will play an active role in executing the Field Plan.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Meet Volunteer Recruitment goals by recruiting, mobilizing and training volunteers to participate in phone banks, canvasses and events.
Persuading and turning out voters in your region.
Maintaining the campaign databases.
Planning and managing field events.
Reaching voter and supporter identification goals.
Outreach to constituency groups, democratic clubs and organizations.
Job Requirements:
A positive attitude and willingness to work long hours.
Great time management and organization skills.
Ability to train and instruct volunteers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiasm for Democratic Politics.
Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Experience with recruiting volunteers.
Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple priority projects and meet established timelines.
Enjoys working with varied members of the general public.
Experience with Excel and previous campaign databases.
Campaign experience preferred, but not required.
