Position Summary:
Competitive Maryland Congressional Campaign seeking a full time, experienced Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) Director to support large field program heading into the Primary Election. The role of GOTV director will ensure regional and district-wide phone and door goals are met to ensure victory. The GOTV director will carry out additional responsibilities, as determined by the campaign. Position will be based Washington, D.C. suburbs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Understanding of the role of field tactics to win elections;
- At least two cycles of experience managing paid field staff;
- Ability to facilitate and support day-to-day canvass and phone operations;
- Experience recruiting, hiring, and training paid canvassers;
- Commitment to building a culture of diversity, respect and excellence;
- Proficiency in VAN, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs;
- Frequent travel required;
- Access to a vehicle;
- Other duties as needed
