Deputy Finance Director Job Description
Top tier Democratic congressional campaign is seeking energetic Deputy Finance Director to join high performing fundraising team.
Deputy Finance Director responsibilities include:
Donor research and prospecting
Work with finance team on upkeep and maintenance of campaign database
Call time management
Staffing and organizing fundraising events
Assisting with follow-up from call time, events and other outstanding items as needed
Assist with drafting fundraising emails and communications
Assisting with all aspects of fundraising and other campaign events
Other duties as needed
Deputy Finance Director Qualifications:
Highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced campaign environment
Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis
A true self-starter who is a detail-oriented team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage a lot of projects simultaneously and cheerfully
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel especially) required
Access to reliable transportation required
Spanish language proficiency preferred
Previous finance/fundraising experience preferred
Previous Texas campaign experience preferred
Knowledge of NGP or other database type software preferred
