[jobsthatareLEFT] National Data & Reporting Director - Take A Stand Campaign - DC Based

National Data & Reporting Director

Acadia Consulting, LLC is working with AARP to recruit a National Data & Reporting Director to join the Take A Stand Social Security Campaign.  Take A Stand is a nonpartisan advocacy campaign working in battleground states to engage AARP members and the public to encourage Presidential candidates to commit to updating Social Security for the 21st century. The Social Security Trustees have warned that Social Security recipients will receive a 25% cut – which is about $10,000 annually for the average retiree. AARP believes it is a test of Presidential leadership to have a strong plan to resolve this crisis now and we are looking for individuals to join this game–changing campaign. To learn more, visit the campaign website: 2016takeastand.org

The National Data & Reporting Director will supervise a Data Manager and work collaboratively with the National Field Director to tell the story of the field campaign. The campaign will employ staff across 7 battleground states but will coordinate with AARP staff across all 50 states thereby generating a considerable amount of qualitative and quantitative data on a daily basis over time.

We seek a leader who can help establish strong reporting systems and coordinate and prioritize requests for information between campaign consultants and the member organization. The position must help bridge field and data needs. The program will include tactics such as phone banking, canvassing, online digital engagement, and in-person events. Various forms of paid media will support all efforts.
