The North American Spine Society/National Association of Spine Specialists (NASS) is the largest medical society representing the interests of over 8,000 spine care providers worldwide. We are currently seeking a Digital intern for summer 2016 who can assist with the development of the association's burgeoning digital political action committee (PAC) fundraising and advocacy programs. The intern will work closely with the Director of the Government Relations and will have ample opportunities to improve upon existing skills and gain valuable new skills in an association environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Managing email data and analytics
· Implementing strategies to organically grow donor network
· Writing and loading content for website and emails
· Maintaining donor database and generating targeted email lists
· Designing and distributing graphics
· Assisting with other administrative assignments as needed
Requirements:
We are looking for a politically savvy individual with strong analytic and writing skills with 1+ years' experience in digital or social marketing. Experience with basic HTML, Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus. The internship is located in our Washington, D.C. office, and is expected to be part time for the summer. Students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
