Seeking a passionate and dedicated field organizer to work on a State Senate campaign in the Chicago's north suburbs.
Responsibilities include:
Implementation of field plan for particular geographic region within the district
Voter identification and outreach
Volunteer recruitment and training
Management of canvasses and phone banks
Oversight of voter registration, early voting, and GOTV efforts
Building relationships with volunteers as well as local political and grassroots organizations
Plan and attend campaign events, public meetings, and other outreach activities
Staff events with the Senator in attendance
Data entry and management
Other projects and tasks as delegated
Field Organizers will be expected to meet daily reporting and data entry deadlines, as well as weekly voter contact goals. Experience using Votebuilder is preferred. Previous commitment to progressive politics or causes will be looked upon favorably. A drivers license and access to a car is required. The position will require long hours, including nights and weekends. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
