[jobsthatareLEFT] Neighborhood Affairs position (full-time) in Boston City Council office

We are a busy and collegial office serving a member of the Boston City Council, seeking to add a talented, energetic, and reliable staffer on a full-time basis. The focus of the position is community facing - the incumbent will be a primary point of contact for constituents, neighborhood associations, and local businesses. Secondary responsibilities include administrative tasks as assigned by the Chief of Staff and public policy input as desired by the incumbent.

We are particularly interested in candidates with past demonstrated interest in government, politics, community organizing, and/or public policy. We also desire candidates with strong interpersonal and writing skills, and who feel comfortable interacting with a wide range of personalities. A college degree is required, as is Boston residency at time of hire.

To apply, please send your resume and a brief introductory email (no cover letters, please) to bostoncitycounciljobs@gmail.com.
