Arizona Regional Field Director for Voter Registration Campaign

Crossroads Campaigns is a progressive political consulting firm, helping organizations and

campaigns with development, field programs, online tools, and communications services.

Crossroads is overseeing a voter registration program in Southwestern Arizona and is looking for

a Regional Field Director to help oversee a multi-county voter registration effort.

Position Summary: Crossroads Campaigns is hiring a Field Director for a voter registration

campaign based in Southwestern Arizona. The RFD is responsible for management and

oversight of all field operations in the region, including managing and developing a team of three

Field Organizers with differing levels of experience. The RFD will report to Crossroads

Campaigns and the project funders. The job to begin mid-June through the end of September.

Responsibilities Include:

 Coach Field Organizers in program planning, targeting and execution

 Work alongside Crossroads Campaigns to develop and execute the field program

 Work with other regional groups to facilitate cohesion with the field program

 Analyze and produce daily quantitative reports reflecting progress towards specific goals

in targeted districts to assess strength of program.

 Hold Field Staff accountable for quantitative field progress

 Coordinate regional efforts of partner organizations and stakeholders

 Assist Field Organizers in developing and executing their plans.

 Advocate for, allocate, and manage field budgets and resources

 Support Field Organizers in management of their Field budget and resources

 Train and develop Field Organizers and Paid Canvassers

 Proactive communicator of the field work conducted within their region with all levels

of staff in the Committee

 Other duties as needed

 
Qualifications and Requirements:

 Have at least two cycles of field experience

 Strong management, coaching and training experience

 Experience with VAN voter file system

 Experience with Arizona campaigns is strongly preferred

 Experience managing a budget and finances

 Proficiency in Excel and reporting systems

 Frequent travel within state required

 Ability to establish a culture of respect and community

 A demonstrated ability to present data-driven recommendations to a wide range of

stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner

 A record of building strong working relationships

 Able to demonstrate the ability to communicate information with multiple partners and

stakeholders

 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred but not required:

 Fluency in Spanish

 Access to a car

 Arizona ties

 Experience running payroll for a paid canvass or volunteer operation
