Grassroots Campaigns is seeking a passionate, motivated and professional candidate to serve as Program Director to manage our electoral campaigns successfully, develop new political clients, and strengthen our existing partnerships.
Qualifications: Strong desire for progressive political change. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively. Goal-driven orientation, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on tight timeframes. Quantitative analytical skills and experience (MS-Excel fluency and experience in metrics-based analysis is required). Experience with small-donor fundraising and/or electoral field work preferred. At least two years of project management experience required.
Job Responsibilities:
- · Ensure goals and deliverables are met consistently for our clients' campaigns
o Work with GCI's operations team and clients to develop campaign content, including writing scripts, fact sheets, and other materials
o Communicate campaign expectations to staff
o Monitor and report on program performance on a daily basis, help drive and/or execute plans for improvement where necessary
o Provide regular analysis on performance and make recommendations to GCI staff and clients
- · Serve as external liaison between the organization and the staff at the partner group.
o Report on performance daily; regularly including analysis and plans or recommendations for program improvement
o Assist clients with planning future campaigns, including developing program projections
o Negotiate contracts
o Deepen relationships with existing clients

o Network and develop relationships with new potential partners
o Pitch and bring on new partners and projects
o Participate in national planning meetings and conference calls as part of GCI's leadership team
o Help recruit, train and mentor new campaign staff
