Idaho Congressional Campaign seeks Field Director.
The campaign is a hotly contested red-to-blue congressional race, that will rely heavily on smart and effective voter outreach. The Field Director will have the opportunity to develop and execute all strategy in coordination with the Campaign Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to write and implement a comprehensive, data-driven field plan
- Recruit, train and manage a field team to execute the field plan
- Motivate field staff to perform and meet weekly goals
- Set, meet, and exceed metrics for direct voter contact, volunteer and capacity recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV
- Design and standardize best practices for data management using NGPVAN, Votebuilder, and Excel
- Establish a strong professional culture within the field organization that focuses on accountability, goal-hitting metrics, utilization of best practices, engagement, and sense of purpose
- Manage the field program's budget and logistics in collaboration with the Campaign Manager
Field Director Qualifications:
- MINIMUM one cycle of field experience
- Experience with and ability to train NGP VAN
- Ability to create a fun and professional campaign environment
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet recruitment and voter contact goals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent deadlines
- Willingness to fill multiple roles when needed
- Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment.
- IDAHO ROOTS IS A PLUS - but not required!!
