For Wisconsin's Future is seeking full-time Deputy Regional Canvass Managers for an aggressive organizing and paid canvassing program. Deputy Regional Canvass Managers will be responsible for implementing the statewide field plan and facilitating paid canvass operations within his/her assigned region. Deputy Regional Canvass Managers will be based in La Crosse, Eau Claire, Wausau, and Oshkosh. Deputy Regional Canvass Managers will report to the Regional Canvass Manager.


About For Our Future


For Our Future is a newly-formed Super PAC and 501(c)(4) that incorporates issue advocacy and a robust electoral program in key battleground states to mobilize working families on creating shared economic prosperity, building strong public schools, addressing climate change, and supporting racial justice. The organization will exist beyond this election with an eye towards building a diverse organization and coalition at the community level to work together and stay together over the course of time. Our model is to respect, empower, and include communities of color and organizations across the country who want to work with us on a shared agenda and shared electoral goals.

Wisconsin is a key battleground state, with top target campaigns for Democrats nationally and statewide. Our goal will be to provide a robust field operation to ensure that we deliver 10 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton, elect Russ Feingold to the US Senate, take back the 8th Congressional District, and pick up seats in the Assembly and Senate.


Job type: Full time, exempt, limited term


RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that canvassers are properly trained and consistently productive throughout the day.
  • Ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.
  • Conducting extensive coaching and development with staff on best practices for organizing, paid canvassing recruitment, and retention.
  • Ensuring that all required reporting is accurate and timely and that all regional data is entered on time.
  • Monitoring metrics within each assigned region including knocks per shifts, flake rate, completion rate, confirmation rate; implementing rigorous systems to meet assigned goals associated with this metrics. 
  • Representing the campaign at community events and meetings when advised by the campaign.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 cycle of competitive field experience
  • Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic computer literacy, database skills, and access to a reliable portable computer.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment
  • Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Strong coaching skills and abilities
  • Winning mentality 
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin politics and experience in the Badger State is a plus, but not required
