The Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) is seeking an experienced videographer and film producer to film and edit a compelling a short video for our "Put A Price On It D.C." campaign.
The "Put A Price On It D.C." campaign is a growing coalition-led movement to put a price on carbon emissions and rebate the proceeds to D.C. residents. More information about our campaign can be found here: chesapeakeclimate.org/dc-carbon-fee/
Our short campaign video would highlight the personal and human aspects of this policy through clips of District residents. The content for the film will be used to generate more supporters, aid in outreach and spur volunteers into action for the campaign. The videographer/film producer would help craft the overall vision of the short video with the CCAN team, while offering professional insight on the best way to plan and execute the project.
Our ideal videographer has past experience with filming and producing short films (preferably for a campaign), can aid in directing the vision of a short video, and has quality camera and sound equipment to work with, along with access to editing software.
The candidate must be based in the D.C. region and must be willing to travel throughout D.C. to gather footage.
