[jobsthatareLEFT] NYC Public Engagement Unit Seeks Outreach Staff

The NYC Public Engagement Unit (PEU) identifies and executes proactive strategies to connect more New Yorkers to key City services. The Tenant Support Unit (TSU), within the PEU, proactively engages New Yorkers who may be at risk of displacement or harassment and connects them with a range of City resources. Since its launch in July, 2015, the TSU has knocked on more than 100,000 doors and called more than 60,000 households across NYC to identify tenant's issues and case manage each issue to resolution.

There are currently three types of positions available with the Tenant Support Unit:

  • Creating individualized outreach plans for their areas, mapping out key geographic areas, community partners and interest groups.

A team of specialists, in close partnership with the Department of Finance, will engage New Yorkers across NYC to provide them with in-person and phone-based enrollment assistance.
