Responsibilities
The Campaign Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the campaign in targeted races. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing the day-‐to-‐day schedule and activities for the candidate
- Executing on a comprehensive campaign plan outlining the path to victory including voter contact and fundraising goals
- Overseeing the fundraising, field, communications, messaging and technology components of the campaign
- Working with the campaign's consultant to develop a sound paid communications plan in line with the campaign's message and timeline
- Maintaining relationships and communication with local and county Democratic stakeholders
- Recruiting and training volunteers
Requirements
- Qualified candidates must be highly organized, highly motivated and capable of working through a demanding work environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to build and motivate a team.
- Commitment to details, results meeting goals, and using data to inform decisions in the field.
- Campaign experience at managerial level.
- Political campaign and/or labor organizing experience required; political fundraising experience preferred.
- Experience writing and implementing Campaign, Finance and Communication plans.
- A reliable vehicle is highly suggested.
- Experience in New York City is a plus, but not required.
