Democratic fundraising shop seeks fundraising intern to assist Top-tier U.S. Senate race with Washington D.C. based operations. This is a unique opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of a fundraising operation.
Finance interns will:
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Assist in preparation of fundraising materials
- Research potential donors
- Attend briefings, meetings, fundraisers and other events
Intern qualifications include:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong research skills and attention to details
- Enthusiasm and an interest in campaigns and politics
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), NGP experience a plus
Outcomes:
- Intern will get an inside look at fundraising and event planning
- Intern will gain a deeper understanding of politics
- Intern will gain experience using research methods
- Interns will expand their personal and professional network
