[jobsthatareLEFT] Field Organizers for Targeted Delegate Races

The Virginia House Democrats are seeking field organizers for the 2017 campaign cycle for key races throughout the Commonwealth.

The field organizers will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

·       Implementing the caucus field plan in their district

·       Recruiting, training and managing volunteers

·       Meeting weekly voter contact goals

·       Maintaining relationships with community leaders and local activists

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with an interest in progressive politics and communicating the Democratic message to voters.

Other qualifications would include:

 

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

·       Knowledge of Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and Google Docs

·       Attention to detail and organizational skills

·       Must be willing to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends

·       Commitment to the values and ideals of the Democratic Party

 

Applicants should be prepared to work long hours, be based in various locations throughout the Commonwealth and have access to a vehicle.

Pay is commensurate with experience. Health insurance provided.
