A political committee founded in order to support responsible, progressive public policy in Houston, Texas is looking to build a major field campaign in order to pass a number of ballot initiatives crucial for economic justice, civil rights, and comprehensive government services in Houston.
-- In order to do so, we need skilled and dedicated field organizers. Field organizers will be paid $3000 per month, with an additional $200 stipend for healthcare. In additional, FOs will have the option to accept campaign provided housing, enjoying apartment style living with their fellow staffers. While suggested, a car in not required, as centralized housing will allow FOs to carpool.
Previous experience as a Field Organizer is recommended, although not at all required. If you are interested in this job, please respond with a current resumé, a cover letter, and two references.
