The International Planned Parenthood Federation/Western Hemisphere Region (IPPF/WHR) seeks a dynamic and resourcefulEmail Coordinator to join their Development and Communications team.
The Email Coordinator will support the tactical execution of digital marketing and communications projects. This position will help ensure that email fundraising campaigns are executed in a successful, accurate and efficient manner. Examples include email marketing, writing, list segmentation, database administration and website production. The Email Coordinator will assist in project coordination, data management, scheduling, deploying, and reporting on IPPF/WHR's digital marketing strategy. Additional duties include digital content publishing via content management systems, email building, link tracking and assisting with the production of digital content.
This position requires a highly-varied set of skills including online fundraising and communications. The ideal candidate is technical by nature, learns quickly and loves being involved in multi-faceted projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in management of email marketing platform (Luminate) including how the tool is structured and used to maximize targeting and segmentation, as well as how data gets into and out of the system.
- Lead coordinator on technical execution of marketing and communications projects including asset delivery workflows and email fundraising.
- Compile statistics, analysis and reports on the performance of online campaigns including email, social media and website components.
- Manage audience engagement feedback loops, including donor emails and surveys.
- Review and test all deliverables for quality assurance.
- Create and manage production schedules for digital projects.
- Improves existing workflows wherever possible to improve efficiency between teams and external consultants.
- Assist in website management.
- Assists in procuring proposals from designers and other outside vendors.
- Assists Associate Director of Donor Communications and Audience Engagement and senior staff in office management duties as assigned.
General Skills
The ideal candidate is passionate about online fundraising and digital marketing best practices—they can translate metrics into a data-driven fundraising strategy. They are tech-savvy, comfortable with project management, detail-oriented, deadline driven, while also being flexible in a fast-pace work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong grasp of email writing, testing, and analytics.
- Propensity for using data analysis and technology, web-based CMS and CRM platforms, preferably Luminate
- HTML proficiency
- 2-3 years of experience in digital content creation, optimization, and email management
- Ability to write and communicate well.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Google web services including AdWords and/or Analytics.
- Experience with content management and web publishing.
- Experience with website management and social media content development.
- English and Spanish proficiency.
Location: This position will be based New York City.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
