We are seeking a motivated digital director to join our team.
Role and responsibilities:
- Design and execute digital marketing plan, identifying meaningful engagement opportunities for our network of more than 100,000 business leaders.
- Plan and execute regular conference calls, webinars, and media trainings. Coordinate speakers and their staff before and after each event to ensure event success. Draft, implement, and promote invitations.
- Create meaningful opportunities to increase email list size by using organic and paid acquisition techniques.
- Create and implement engaging content for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Maintain and improve the accuracy of our constituent database.
- Maintain our website, businessfwd.org.
- Synthesize policy issues, such as climate change, clean energy, immigration reform, and infrastructure, to easy-to-understand content, including memos, email communications, blog posts, and graphics.
- Design organizational materials, including event invitations, multi-page reports, and digital graphics. Create and enforce brand identity across all channels and materials.
- At least 5 to 7 years experience creating digital campaigns;
- Solid writing skills
- Proficiency of CMS and CRM systems, particularly bulk email software
- like BSD Tools, Convio, Salsa, NGP/VAN;
- Proficiency in design and editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, etc);
- Creative and strategic thinker;
- Entrepreneurial spirit and keen interest in innovation; and
- Strong organizational skills.
