The Donna Lynne for Colorado campaign, a Colorado gubernatorial political campaign, is seeking qualified, highly motivated men and women to fill the role of Regional Field Director. The Regional Field Director will oversee field operations in a specified part of the state.
Donna Lynne is the current Lt. Governor and Chief Operating Officer for the state of Colorado. In that role, she is privileged to work with and help people across our great state — leading efforts to address the issues of health care affordability, accessibility, and quality. She launched key initiatives to increase accountability and transparency in government and to make government services more efficient and effective. And she brought renewed attention to education for all Coloradans.
Regional Field Directors serve a vital leadership role within the program and are responsible for the recruitment, instruction, and management of volunteers. Successful applicants will possess previous field experience on a candidate or issue/advocacy campaign.
Applicants for the position must possess strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. They must also be willing to relocate as necessary, possess reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license. The willingness to work extended hours and weekends is also required.
Regional Field Director Responsibilities
Recruitment, Training, and Hiring
Ensuring that recruitment goals are achieved throughout the duration of the program
Oversight of the complete interviewing process and retention of all successful field staff
Ensuring the successful training and orientation of all field staff
Canvass Management
Providing field teams with the positive leadership culture, resources, guidance, and technical support required to succeed during each phase of the program while ensuring compliance with all campaign guidelines
Promoting the continued development of field teams in their day-to-day duties and responsibilities over the course of the program
Accountability
Communicating all pertinent on-the-ground information
Ensuring that field teams maintain accurate and reliable data
Providing the Field Director with daily quantitative and qualitative reports as part of an ongoing evaluation of the program's success
