The City of Minneapolis has been awarded a $1 million grant from the Federal Department of Health & Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to create the Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma (ReCAST) Minneapolis Program Manager position. The purpose of this program is to assist high-risk youth and families and promote resilience and equity in communities that have recently faced civil unrest through implementation of evidence-based violence prevention and community youth engagement programs, as well as linkages to trauma-informed behavioral health services.
Required Education & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in business, economics, public administration, public social work, political science, social science, or a closely-related field.
· Two years in the public or non-profit sector performing management duties.
· An equivalent combination of education and experience closely related to the duties of the position may be considered.
