Our turnout operation and innovative program helped restore voting rights to 1.4 million Floridians, expand Medicaid coverage to 400,000 in Virginia, and resulted in sizable electoral progress at the state and federal level, including the pickup of 3 Gubernatorial offices, 1 Senate seat, 13 Congressional seats, and 22 state legislative seats.

JOB SUMMARY
Are you passionate about digital organizing, advancing progressive change, expanding the electorate, and defeating Trump? For Our Future seeks a talented digital leader to enhance our campaigns as we embark on our most ambitious electoral and issue organizing field program to date. The National Digital Director will assist our states in creating boundary-pushing long-term and rapid response digital communications strategies and identify and implement new ways to integrate digital organizing into all voter engagement tactics. The incumbent should have hands-on experience with digital strategy and organizing, SMS and peer texting tools, content development, social media account management, email marketing, website management. Our ideal candidate will have competencies in digital organizing, planning and management in support of field, electoral, and issue campaigns. The National Digital Director is a senior staff headquarters position that reports to the Campaigns Director.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Assisting states in creating aggressive, long- and short-term digital communications strategies including SMS, paid digital, email and social;
● Identifying new digital communications avenues and creating compelling digital content that can be localized in states;
● Identifying and implementing new ways to integrate digital organizing into all voter engagement tactics;
● Increasing the social media reach of For Our Future states and progressive partners to push our message directly to the people we are trying to reach;
● Partnering with states to maintain and update social media channels with original content daily, including graphics, videos, and other creative content;
● Overseeing email program within states;
● Continuously assessing social media landscape and identifying key messengers across all social platforms;
● Establishing digital program efficacy and ensuring integration of program data
● Managing vendors for digital tools as necessary.
Qualifications:
● 6-8 years' experience in digital strategy, content development, and social media account management;
● Experience with email marketing and website management;
● Video editing experience a plus;
● Experience with design software;
● Experience with utilizing message testing, political polling, offline and online analytics to target and build strategy is a plus;
● Experience with digital organizing and planning in support of field, electoral, and issue campaigns (voter contact, GOTV)
● Creativity in message delivery and plan design, ability to look at digital communications challenges differently and respond with innovative solutions;
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with unpredictable hours, and juggle multiple projects at once;
● Ability to work both independently and as a team member in a busy office with personal enthusiasm, optimism, and a sense of humor;
● Experience with independent expenditure organizations and campaigns a plus;
● A passion for progressive causes.
