After spending 13 years working with underserved young kids to get them their High School Diploma and getting them connected with workforce opportunities, Michael saw that he needed to take on a bigger role in his community. Our elected leaders were not representing the needs of his community, and Michael knew he was the man for the job. The strongest progressive in the race, Michael has a huge network of dedicated volunteers and supporters-but while community support is critical to winning an election, so is fundraising.
