New York City Council Member is seeking applicants for the part-time position of Digital Assistant. The ideal candidate is creative, works well with a team, and has strong attention to detail.
Qualifications include:
- Knowledge of Facebook and Twitter
- Experience using design programs like Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Experience creating graphics for social media
- Understanding of video production and video editing
The Digital Assistant will work directly with the Communications Director for 10-15 hours per week. This position will work remotely, with the expectation of working occasionally from the Council Member's office in Manhattan.
Previous political experience and knowledge of NYC politics are beneficial, but exceptional candidates without such experience will be considered for the position.
