SPB Strategies assists political candidates and organizations in achieving their fundraising goals while simultaneously navigating the political landscape. Simone Baer has successfully worked with high profile candidates such as US Senator Bob Casey, PA AG Josh Shapiro, PA Supreme Court Justice David Wecht, and organizations such as Planned Parenthood and the ACLU.
Job Description
This position provides exposure to the political process for individuals interested in a career in politics or fundraising. Responsibilities vary and will include tasks such as data entry, extensive web-based research (policy research and donor prospecting) event and meeting planning and staffing, candidate call time, and database maintenance.
Job Qualifications
SPB Strategies is seeking a bright, hard-working individual who is looking to gain experience in the Pennsylvania political arena. A minimum of an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree is required. 1-2 years in a comparable profession is preferred. Strong verbal, writing and computer skills are necessary. Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
