Veracity Media is a progressive digital strategy and political consulting firm based in Washington D.C. We just helped elect Ayanna Pressley, Lucy McBath, Andy Kim, and dozens of other rockstars to the most diverse Congress ever, and in 2019 are working to flip state legislative seats from red to blue, on ballot initiatives across the country, and with issue advocacy campaigns to push for free college tuition, gun violence prevention, and gender parity.
We're in search of an Executive Assistant to juggle our leadership's crazy schedule, help with our business development process, and manage client-relations and strategic partnerships.

Executive Assistant Roles and Responsibilities
- Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and other logistical work.
- Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected.
- Communicates directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with clients, staff, stakeholders, etc.
- Researches, prioritizes and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines the appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Edits and completes first drafts for written communications to external stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to stay in the loop on all projects and jump in and provide assistance when necessary.
- Does all of the above in a good-natured, humorous way.
Skills
- Ability to know when to manage up, and to do so in a respectful and productive, yet firm, manner.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners, and clients.
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
- Strong computer and internet research skills.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and be adaptable to various competing demands.
Sugar on top, but not necessary
- Familiarity with NGP/BSD/ActBlue
- Campaign or political experience
- Prior executive assistant experience
