About the Campaign
New York City campaign seeking a body person for the late-June primary. Candidate is dedicated to issues such as criminal justice reform, strengthening communities to provide opportunity to all and keeping those communities safe.
Responsibilities
Driving the candidate throughout each day to campaign events and meetings.
Staffing the candidates at events and meetings.
Assuring that all appropriate follow up from staffing is addressed or directed to the appropriate staff member or consultant.
Taking notes at meetings when necessary.
Working with the campaign manager to coordinate scheduling and event logistics.
Work non-traditional hours on a full time schedule, with a high degree of flexibility.
Qualifications
Strong dedication to Democratic politics.
Minimum 1 cycle of campaign, political, or other relevant experience, or experience in scheduling/logistics/event planning with a serious interest in and understanding of politics.
Ability to live and work in New York City.
Ability to work full time campaign hours, often including nights weekends.
Must have car, valid driver's license, and appropriate insurance.
Start Date: ASAP.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
